We believe that every child who desires a Christian education should have one. Therefore, Family Christian Academy and Family Church, Port Charlotte are committed to working with families to help them afford Christian School. We accept state funded scholarships.

 

Our best advice to a family who is struggling to determine if they can afford FCA is to meet with us and let us help you explore the options.

Step-Up for Students: A Florida State Funded Need-based Scholarship

 

Step Up for Students is an organization that provides partial scholarships to students who come from low-income families. These scholarships provide funds to help families pay for private school tuition. On average, SUFS funding pays 75-80% of the FCA enrollment cost. Families are responsible to pay the difference.

The Family Empowerment Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities

​

The Family Empowerment Scholarship Program for students with disabilities provides Florida students with special needs the opportunity to attend a participating private school.
In order to be eligible a student must have a qualifying Individual Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Accommodation Plan and must apply for the program PRIOR to withdrawing from public school.
